Hi I'm Rach!
I'm Rachel, but you can call me Rach. I'm a wedding/lifestyle photographer based out of Thunder Bay, Ontario...but always have my suitcase on stand-by, ready to travel! I love exploring new places with a camera in hand, of course. Intimate weddings, elopements, couples, and engagement sessions have quickly become my specialty and passion. Love is the most powerful thing on this planet and we are so lucky to experience it...and I'm here to help bottle up that spark forever. I'm a sucker for a session in any type of nature setting, including in the fields, on the water, or really anywhere in the great outdoors!

if you're a bird i'm a bird
I love telling this story. There is a purpose to my name, and I guess you could say it's a version of my own love story. Dyl and I first met in highschool. We were in grade 12 and I had just switched schools (for reasons I really do not know... I just say it was to meet my lover ;) I drove my standard Sunfire to school everyday, and one day Dyl just happened to be in the parking lot when I was parking. I had a random sticker on the car from the dealership that said "Brian Finch". Dyl thought it was odd and decided it would be a good name to call me. From that point on we just called each other "Finch", which then turned into "Bird". It's been 12 years and he's still "Bird" on my phone. Yup, you guessed it, this is exactly where the name Birdseyephoto came from!

-I met my soulmate Dylan in 2012
-Proud Mama to 2 cute little humans Colter and Kollins
-Obsessed with our German Shepherd "Bones".
-I have naturally curly hair that I don't show off enough (curly hair ppl iykyk)
-I really dislike hot drinks... you will find me with an iced cap in hand most of the time
- Organizing containers, label makers and laminators are LIFE
- I quit my every day job almost two years ago to pursue photography FULL TIME!
